Bright, bold graphics helped give the #ge2017forwomen campaign a strong identity

With the unplanned June 2017 General Election fast approaching, our existing client Women’s Budget Group needed to quickly raise awareness of how our vote can affect equality-focused policy. We had less than a week to create a series of shareable graphics and supporting campaign website that would enable people to highlight what issues are important to them and directly engage with local MPs.

Along with ten fellow women’s rights organisations, WBG chose to focus on eight key topics. Each topic was supported by a number of organistions including the Fawcett Society, Rape Crisis and Girl Guiding. The organisations involved pin pointed three facts under each topic that needed visualising in a way that would make it easy to share on twitter and facebook. The website saw over nine-thousand visitors in the weeks leading up to voting day and the social media activity raised the profile of the campaign across the country.
