Harley & Lola are an online homeware store who believe our homes deserve to be filled with good quality, ethically sourced products that tell a story. After learning a lot about their brand intentions through the first phase of their site, H&L approached 05creative to support with taking their brand identity to the next level. It was important to them that the values which set them apart from other online stores were conveyed to visitors.

After getting to know what Harley & Lola are all about we began to build a visual language. We embraced the frilly cushion of the existing logo, using the frill as a framing tool as well as giving product images a consistent Harley & Lola stamp. We counterbalanced the fun of the frill by evolving the colour palette and typography styles, meaning graphics across the site maintain a sense of maturity. This balance of styles inspired the tone of voice for seasonal ad campaigns where playful copy meets rich lifestyle imagery.
